Submission Guidelines for The ADR Blog
- The NLIU ADRC blog accepts original submissions on a rolling basis on themes pertaining to Alternate Dispute Resolution practices including but not limited to Mediation, Negotiation and Arbitration.
- The submission must not be plagiarized from any source.
- Submissions can be in the form of articles, opinions, case comments, and short notes on the aforementioned themes.
- The submission must also include an abstract of 80-100 words, summarizing the article.
- The length of a piece must ideally not be more than 1500 words excluding abstract and endnotes. Flexibility in this regard may be allowed at the sole discretion of the editorial team in consideration of the topic and content of the manuscript.
- Co-authorship is allowed up to a maximum of 2 authors.
- Submissions must adhere to the following formatting requirements.
- Submission must be made in a Word Doc format and sent to adrc.nliu@gmail.com with the subject “NLIU-ADRC Blog Submission”
- Font- Times New Roman
- Font size- 12-point; 1.5 line spacing.
- All sources must be duly acknowledged and hyperlinked within the manuscript.
- Use of endnotes may be made if required. In such cases, a standard uniform mode of citation must be used for the same (ideally Bluebook)
- The title can consist of no more than 12 words.
- Manuscripts accepted for publication may only be cross-posted on any alternate platform with due acknowledgment that it was first published in the NLIU-ADRC blog.
