Emphasis was laid not only on conceptual and theoretical understanding of mediation but also on its practical implementation by participating in mediation exercises. Workshop on Negotiation and Mediation by Mr. Tom Valenti
To efficiently equip students with the requisite skills required to participate in the upcoming University pool selections and further participate in national and international ADR competitions, ADRC organized a four-day interactive workshop. The workshop was in association with Mr. Tom Valenti and pertained to various aspects of negotiation and mediation.
The workshop-cum-training session witnessed overwhelming participation from the student community of NLIU, Bhopal, and was a huge success. Participants learned about the intricacies involved in the process of mediation and negotiation by enacting mediator and negotiator at different points in time. This helped them observe and understand the entire process closely and also appreciate the nuances involved.
